Acne is a common condition that affects many individuals. While it starts in teenage years, many patients continue to be afflicted in adulthood. We will discuss why acne vulgaris should be managed as a chronic disease.

In addition, acne needs to be treated early and management should be holistic to prevent complications. Updates on the acne management and treatment modalities will be discussed during this talk as well.
