What is a Co-operative?

• Co-operative societies, or co-ops, are membership-based enterprises with social missions. They operate on the principles of self-help and mutual assistance

• Co-ops are regulated by the Registry of Co-operative Societies under the Co-operative Societies Act (Chapter 62) and Co-operative Societies Rules 2009

• GP+ is classified as a consumer and services co-operative
